A letter to the best wedding creators in the world by Josh Withers
If you've been on Facebook, Threads, Instagram for more than a week then you might have no idea how the platforms work today.
The whole deal has changed.
Each piece of content we create lives completely on its own. It's not for our followers or people who have liked our page.
When you create today that content could come from your account with thousands of followers, or from a brand new account, it doesn't matter. Hashtags don't matter. All the things we think matter, do not matter.
The only thing that matters is whether the content is engaging. If enough people like it, then it gets thrown further into the social networks for more people to enjoy.
This is heartbreaking for those of us that have been building up our followers and trying to create a brand aesthetic and a nice profile grid.
This is powerful news for anyone keen on winning on Meta platforms. One of my Threads has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people, the posts before and after were seen by about 40.
Want to learn about this exact topic? 7pm Sydney time, on July 3rd, my friend Edwin and I are hosting a masterclass on Instagram mythbusting. Webinar tickets are $40 and you are invited.
