A letter to the best wedding creators in the world by Josh Withers
Seneca wrote
Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live. It is asking others to live as one wishes to live.
He goes on to describe men becoming devils, but putting the wisdom of Seneca aside for a moment, think about selfishness in your social media and blog content.
Just today I saw posts from celebrants talking about how it's the end of the season for them, how you could come down to an expo to meet them, and how they are closing bookings for this year.
My message to those celebrants to you is: who cares? Your clients don't. Your clients are selfish, they're asking you to "live as one wishes to live", or in simpler English, create content for your clients, not for yourself.
No-one cares about wedding seasons or bookings opening or closing, they care about their wedding.
Serve them better content. Help them, entertain them, love them, encourage them. This is how you win on social media.
