An industry body just emailed me a PDF magazine showcasing wedding vendors and weddings from the region. The email sold it as a "labour of love", and as much as I'm in the business of publishing a daily labour of love, I also know that love isn't good enough today.
Good intentions are lovely, but they don't win the race.
If you're publishing something today, if you're going to take up a coveted spot in my inbox, it can't just be a labour of love but it needs to move the needle. It needs to do something to me, for me, about me.
I hope this email does that for you as you go to write your next thing for the betterment of your business. Let it be powerful, meaningful, interesting, entertaining, or controversial.
