A letter to the best wedding creators in the world by Josh Withers
A barbershop in Canberra I visited once—when I was flying in and needed a cut before a wedding—emailed me this week.
An entire email just to inform me that they, the business, had moved to new software.
What a waste of time, for both of us.
New software, new processes, and productivity hacks should go unnoticed by the public—or, at best, they should only notice that things have improved.
Ironically, here at Aisle Authority, things have actually gotten worse. 70% of the email subscriptions aren’t reaching inboxes, so I’ve quietly done the work to fix it. The only way to test it is to send another email.
So, I don’t have new software; I’m sticking with the same old Buttondown platform. Hopefully, it’s working better now, but I won’t know for sure until I click send.
