A letter to the best wedding creators in the world by Josh Withers
I couldn't help but get Jeff back on the letter again:
Sometimes the thing isn’t the thing. Everyone is focussed on providing a better thing, but I’m here creating a different offer altogether, taking me out of that over saturated red ocean of hyper competition.
It’s easier to compete in the blue ocean (plug for Blue Ocean Strategy).
Two more book references, because they drive so much of my process and I read them often, Pressfield’s "Do The Work" and Sivers’ "Anything You Want."
- Do the damn work, knowing full well everything will try to prevent you from doing it (Resistance).
- Anything You Want - make your business anything you want. It doesn’t have to look a certain way or copy a formula, make it whatever you want and only do the things you actually WANT to be doing. Outsource the rest.
